Antibiotic free supplements for top performing healthy herds.
Challenges
Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS)
Despite vaccination, many herds are still infected and this problem is widespread. It affects sows, causes piglets mortality and weakness. Our strategy is to add an external virus killer that complements vaccinations.
African Swine Fever
African Swine Fever Virus is 200nm in diameter and is dreaded by all farmers. To combat this, it cannot be solved with a single solution. GN has many successful experiences across many farms. Please contact our technical sales for support.
Streptococcus and Clostridium
Despite vaccination, many herds are still challenged with Streptococcus and Clostridium. Our solution involves the adding of an external pathogen killer after vaccination to bring these pathogen under control to almost 100%.
Piglet Mortality, Weaning Challenges
Piglets that are born weak have higher mortality. They also have lower average daily gain even as growers and finishers. Moreover, Zinc Oxide will have to be replaced and piglets need other solutions for weaning challenges. Our strategy involves strengthening piglet immunity (IGg), providing slow release energy for strength and combating gut pathogens.
Health
Sow Return to next Farrowing
Farrowing is an energy exhausting experience and the sow will need fast sustained energy for recovery. Our solution is slow release and easily absorbable energy.
Poor Gut Integrity/ Morphology
Lack of feed quality and presence of pathogens in the gut will damage intestinal wall and villi. Villi will tend to shorten and there will be leaky gut shunting energy to immune system instead of to growth. GN solutions comprise of glycerides.
Inefficient Absorption of Fats
Fats are high energy sources, soluble only in oil. On the other hand, gut mucosal wall is water soluble. Bile, enzymes and digestive enhancers are needed to form water soluble fat micelles to increase the absorptions of fats. By adding emulsifiers such as lecithin powder leads to better absorption of fats and better utilisation of fat soluble vitamins.
Provide Sustained Energy
For starter feed, it is important to deliver a fat for transition into solid food. Yet, this fat must be digestible by adding lecithin which contains phospholipid. In particular, breeder farms need a high content of lecithin in this kind of fat. For finisher, hard fats are important to modify the back fat in the meat.
