Green & Natural Industries Sdn Bhd (GNI) has acquired a parcel of leasehold land in Westport for RM11.1 million to boost its production capacity. The land, measuring 130,680 square feet will have offices and a factory erected on it. The acquisition is a strategic move for the company given it exports 90% of its products.
This acquisition will see an increase in manufacturing capabilities. The construction is scheduled to begin in 2025 and is estimated to be completed by 2026. The acquisition will be funded by an internally generated fund and bank borrowings.
